On the map Spiegelsberge above the animal park Halberstadt the relay competitions took place at the end of the Junior European Cup. On a relatively small map section it was necessary to correctly assign the elevation and the stone objects, to keep the speed high in the badly runnable sections and to punch the right posts.

The German relay teams started strong with Jule Roßner (OK Leipzig) and Anselm Reichenbach (SSV Planeta Radebeul). The following German runners did not manage to keep the positions 2 and 6. In the overall classification of all relays the 9th place for the men and the 15th place for the women could be recorded at the end.

At the top of the field in the women's race Finland ran in ahead of Switzerland and Sweden. In the men's race, France won ahead of Switzerland and Sweden after the first teams to enter, Czech Republic 1 and France 2, were disqualified after a miscue.
